INSPECTION
LIST The
list above reflects all inspections that are scheduled for the current day. The
list shown reflects the inspections in numerical order, but does not indicate a
specific time frame for your inspection. If your inspection is shown above, it was
scheduled for the time frame that was requested. Please remember the time
preference requested is a window between either 9:00am-12:00pm or 1:00pm-4:00pm.
If your inspection needs to be rescheduled to another time and/or day, the
Building Department staff will contact you. If you believe you scheduled an
inspection for the current day, but do not see it above, please contact the
Building Department at (415)289-4128.
GUIDELINES FOR
INSPECTIONS Building inspections can be scheduled by calling (415)289-4100 ext.811. Please
leave the day and date of the inspection, the permit number, site address, time
preference (AM or PM), the type of inspection, a contact name and phone number
in your request. If the above information is not provided, the inspection
request may be deferred or asked to be rescheduled with all information. Inspections
must be requested by 7:30am the day of the inspection. If the request is
received after 7:30am, it will automatically be rescheduled for the next inspection
day. A responsible party shall be on-site during the inspection, unless otherwise
indicated to the Building Department staff prior to the inspection. No confirmation will be received once an
Inspection is scheduled. Sewer Lateral Inspections must be scheduled with
the Sewer Coordinator by email 72 hours in advance. For any other information

Encroachment Permit Inspections: Either request through eTrakit or email adavidson@sausalito.gov, sbukhari@sausalito.gov & mlockett@sausalito.gov a minimum of 72 hours in advance.
